The First ever Sri Lanka Apparel & Textile Roadshow in London, UK is set to be organised and promoted by the Sri Lanka Apparel Sourcing Association (SLASA), Export Development Board (EDB), Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and the Sri Lanka High Commission (UK), scheduled to be held for the first week of June 2024 at the Royal Horticulture Hall, London.

This event will feature the participation of 50 Sri Lankan companies, including 12 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The Roadshow aims to give the UK buyers to see the varied categories of Sri Lanka Garment industry and the strength what can be offered as a valued apparel producing hub which has developed sustainability and innovation.

It is expected to attract 500+ buyers / visitors from UK clothing industry.

OBJECTIVE

The objective is to support apparel exporters in establishing business connections with UK buyers and expanding exports to the UK through the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) and expand the Sri Lanka apparel exports share to the UK. Additionally, the aim is to showcase Sri Lanka as a responsible apparel manufacturing destination in Asia, fostering awareness among UK-based buyers.
